Here I’m sharing the 7 Days of Golden Triangle Itinerary through my own experience which may also help you in planning your own trip. Day Wise Golden Triangle Tour Itinerary for 7 Days
Day 1: Arrival at Delhi
The first day of our 7 days Golden Triangle tour itinerary was our arrival at the capital city of India, Delhi. After arriving at the Delhi Airport, our tour representative welcomed us in a unique traditional India style. Later, he took us to our pre-booked hotel and asked us for having a day rest or we were free to roam around the incredible city. But due to being too much tired, we choose the day rest and enjoy the hospitality provided by our hotel. After the sunset, we had a delicious dinner at our hotel’s restaurant and spend the whole night in our luxurious and well-equipped room.
Day 2. Delhi Tour
It was the day second of our Golden Triangle tour and our tour representative called us early morning and told us that we’ll have a full-day tour of Delhi sightseeing. I and my friends were so excited about this so, we finished our breakfast quickly and get ready for the Delhi sightseeing tour. Before our lunch, we explored so many beautiful sites of Delhi which includes Qutab Minar, Humayun’s Tomb, Parliament House, India Gate, Purana Quila, Jantar Mantar, and Laxminarayan Temple.
We spent more than half of our day exploring these sites so we took our quickly in a restaurant and move to explore Old Delhi. In Old Delhi, we’ve explored the Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Raj Ghat, Gandi Memorial and returned back to our hotel after the sunset. Stayed overnight at the hotel.
Day 3. Delhi to Jaipur
The day 3 of our Golden Triangle itinerary for 7 days was our transfer day from Delhi to Jaipur. So after finishing our breakfast, our representative meet us in the hotel’s lobby and loaded our luggage in the car. After enjoying the 4 hours ride and arriving at Jaipur, we checked-in to our hotel and took the day rest and enjoyed the overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 4: Jaipur Sightseeing Tour
After taking breakfast at the hotel, our representative took us to the first sightseeing destination which was Amer Fort where we enjoyed elephant rides to climb up the fort. Likewise, we have visited other sightseeing destinations one by one which includes, Jantar Mantar observatory, City Palace, The palace of winds – Hawa Mahal, Birla Temple, Govind Dev Ji Temple, and Monkey Temple.
After exploring all these sites, it was already the sunset so, we head back to our hotel again and stay overnight there.
Day 5: Jaipur – Fatehpur Sikri – Agra
After having a delicious breakfast at the hotel, we meet our travel agent and started driving to Agra city. Before arriving Agra, we have visited Fatehpur Sikri en-route. Fatehpur Sikri is the most beautiful architectural town that represents ancient Mughal architecture. After exploring it, we continue our drive to Agra.
We reached Agra before the afternoon so there was so much time left for us in the day. So after checking-in our hotel, we went to visit Agra Fort and returned back before the dark. We had a delicious dinner at the hotel and enjoyed the first-night stay in Agra.
Day 6: Agra – Delhi
As our representative told us that it was our last sightseeing day in Agra, we get up early in the morning and get done with our breakfast at the hotel. Later, we went for an early morning walk to the magnificent Taj Mahal. Taj Mahal is really one of the best monuments I have seen in India’s Golden Triangle. We stayed at the Taj Mahal for a couple of hours and click so many pictures with it. Later we get back to our hotel as we need to go back to Delhi. We packed up our luggage and leave for Delhi. After arriving in Delhi, it was so dark so we stayed in our pre-booked hotel.
Day 7: Delhi Departure
So it was the last day of our 7 days Golden Triangle Tour Itinerary, so we went for some shopping in the charming shopping bazaars of Delhi. We bought so many memorable stuff to take back with us to our country. Later, our travel representative dropped us to the Delhi International Airport to connect flight for onward destinations.
